Hurtling towards the second trimester.

14 Weeks 3 days

According to thebump.com (thanks M for sending me the link!) our little babies are the size of lemons.

As I sit at my desk looking at my uneaten pear (I opted for a Tim Horton’s double chocolate donut instead) I imagine the babies being that big.

It’ not a large pear, in fact, if you cut off the skinny part of the pear it’s very lemon-shaped.

Tomorrow, according to all the websites, we will be (for sure) in the second trimester (they seem to disagree as to if this if the first day or if we have been in the second trimester for a week).

Depending on which due date calculator used, tomorrow we will be either 14 weeks and 4 days or 14 weeks and 1 day. Regardless, tomorrow is the beginning of a new stage!

And only 15 more sleeps till the 3d ultra sound – but who is counting?

Such an exciting milestone! Don’t blame you for opting for the donut. It’s good that the books and sites only compare size to fruits and veggies!
